Maurice Lacroix & Wotto Create a Wearable Work of Art
The AIKON Automatic Wotto Limited Edition Blends Street Art & Swiss Watchmaking
Maurice Lacroix is pushing the boundaries of urban-inspired watchmaking with its latest AIKON Automatic Wotto Limited Edition. A striking fusion of street art and haute horology, this limited run of 1,000 pieces features the unmistakable style of British artist Wotto (Craig Watkins)—an artist known for his bold, playful, and surreal doodle-inspired designs.
A Story Told in Steel & Ink
What started as an independent engraving project in 2021 has now come full circle, with Maurice Lacroix officially collaborating with Wotto to create a watch that’s as much an artistic statement as it is a timepiece.
42mm stainless steel case & bracelet – Fully engraved with Wotto’s signature characters, including skateboarding ghosts, lightning bolts, and mischievous mushrooms
Engraved integrated bracelet – Each link tells a unique part of the story, merging hieroglyphic-like patterns with artistic chaos
A vibrant dial centerpiece – Wotto’s playful figures form a color gradient from yellow to blue, adding a dynamic contrast to the monochrome watch
Sapphire caseback – Showcasing the automatic ML115 caliber with a 38-hour power reserve
200m water resistance – Blending urban artistry with true dive-watch capability
More Than an Engraved Watch—A True Collaboration
Unlike previous Urban Tribe models, where artistic elements were confined to engraving, this is the first time Maurice Lacroix has allowed an artist complete creative freedom over the dial. The result? A timepiece that balances Swiss watchmaking precision with an unapologetically bold aesthetic.
The AIKON for the Art-Lover & Rule-Breaker
Maurice Lacroix has always embraced the pulse of the city, and the AIKON Automatic Wotto is proof of that philosophy. It’s a watch that celebrates self-expression, creativity, and the unexpected intersections of art and horology.
Limited to 1,000 pieces, this statement-making timepiece is available now.
